Fatima Khan is the principal at Blue Moon Strategies, which offers crisis management, advocacy and public affairs services. She is also the co-founder of Protect Their Future, a grassroots nonprofit representing parents and physicians advocating to prioritize children in health care policies. Fatima has extensive experience in advocacy, community building, crisis management and media relations. Her previous work ranges from political campaigns, civil rights advocacy as well as corporate, technology and crisis communications through PR agencies Hill & Knowlton, Porter Novelli and as an independent consultant.
Fatima has also worked extensively in the civil rights sector, and led wide ranging media and community initiatives that tackled police brutality, hate crimes, bullying, unconstitutional policies, police spying, and prisoners’ rights. With her corporate background, she also built bridges to the nonprofit sector by engaging companies to fund and support her nonprofit client’s work and initiatives. Passionate about advocacy, Fatima has also helped train and guide clean-tech companies as they navigated federal environmental policies and political challenges.
