At a time of rising anti-Muslim sentiment and discrimination, polarization, and strained relationships across communities, what does meaningful interfaith engagement look like and how can we move toward deeper trust, solidarity, and action?
Join the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU) and the Shoulder to Shoulder Campaign for a conversation exploring new research on interfaith engagement in the United States. Drawing on findings from ISPU’s American Muslim Poll 2025 and perspectives from the field, the webinar will examine who is participating in interfaith work, the barriers that can limit its impact, and opportunities to build stronger relationships across religious and cultural differences.
The program will feature a presentation of the research, reflections from faith leaders representing diverse traditions and communities, and a conversation between ISPU and the Shoulder to Shoulder Campaign about what effective interfaith engagement can look like in practice. Together, we’ll explore how interfaith efforts can foster trust, navigate difficult conversations, counter anti-Muslim discrimination and other forms of bigotry, and build meaningful solidarity across differences.
