The Council on Foreign Relations published a report using ISPU data to contextualize how Muslim voters feel about Trump policies.
CFR writes, “Muslim voters were unique among all cohorts the study group examined: foreign policy was their primary concern. When asked whether a candidate must share their views on an issue to earn their vote, Muslim voters said no on most issues—but yes on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. The American Muslim community is religiously and socially conservative, which might favor Republicans, but anxious about its security and inclusion, which might favor Democrats. “
